When I woke up one morning and looked in the mirror, I saw an essentially clear skin. Then, I notice that one pimple emerging right on my forehead. Does this sound like a familiar situation? There were other occasions when I’ve had a pimple in the most prominent spot on my face at the worst time possible.
Let me then ask, “How did you try to resolve this problem?”. If you said that you tried to pop it or pick at it with your bare hands, don’t feel too guilty. We all have done so in the past. I certainly have. However, I don’t believe that this is the right way on how to get rid of a pimple.
For one, if you try to pop the pimple too early on, when it is only starting to emerge, it will likely worsen. If your fingers aren’t thoroughly cleaned with soap, more bacteria can get into the area of the skin and spread the infection. So you not only worsen the existing pimple, you might end up with more new pimples. There is just too much risk involved.
Alternatives to consider include acne treatment products. When a person is suffering from acne, especially severe cases, he or she can become desperate for solutions. And being continuously bombarded with numerous skin care products that claim to perform miracles does not help at all.
Randomly trying out the different products based on product description and the marketing hype from the manufacturers can lead to adverse consequences. The best way I believe is to take a natural approach to acne skin care.
Simple steps involving eating enough vegetables and fruits, getting enough rest each day, minimizing stress you experience, reducing intake of greasy junk food like KFC and deep fried food can all lead to reduced acne breakout and better overall health. Of course, doing these things may not completely eliminate acne from occurring, but at least you are improving your odds.
